In this super crop you can see a slammed Mazda Protege on a flatbed hauler.
When it first rolled by I thought it was quite literally busted, but most likely it’s been pulled off the road for falling afoul of our strict vehicle modification rules.
One look at that rear camber, to say nothing of the very low ride height, and it’s clearly not road legal here.

With that ride height, in another month or two, he could have gotten away with calling it a snow plow.

a Protege like that being ‘lowered’? yeah, no. that does not look good at all.

Do they do this to lifted trucks too?

In theory, they could. Maximum lift is 6”, max tire size is 35” or 37” (probably 35, too lazy to check) and the tires cannot stick out further than the fender. On that last one, I’ve seen plenty of trucks that aren’t legal.
Realistically, they won’t unless you’re driving a caged rock buggy down the street. And even then... Not sure.
